Today is my 30th birthday and I want to do something meaningful. Instead of asking for monetary donations, I want you to take action. I want 30 people to pledge to donate blood over the next 30 days. I take blood donation very seriously, in fact, I donated blood for the first time on my 18th birthday. Without blood donations a very close family member would have love their life a few years ago and I must continue to pay that generosity forward.
We are facing a nationwide shortage of blood since many blood drives cannot take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Don’t let inconvenience be the reason someone loses their life because there isn’t an adequate blood supply. And don’t just donate for me, donate because it’s the right thing to do for those able to donate. If you are unable to donate due to restrictions (recent travel, health reasons, LGBTQ+ community, etc), please recruit someone else to donate in your place.
I have my appointment on July 23rd – book yours today!
