Discharge day from the hospital to the Healing Home
3 /100

On 1/10/24, I received a phone call that has forever changed me. Our prayers had been answered, they had found a donor match for Ashley. It was me! I got to be her donor. We had just spent the last 2 months watching our daughter, Ashley fight for her life. She was in and out of the hospital, and received countless blood and platelet transfusions. She finally was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia and told that she needed a bone marrow transplant. They started the process to find her a donor. Ashley continued to need numerous blood and platelet transfusions to keep her alive until a donor could be found. We will be forever grateful for the countless people that chose to donate blood and platelets! Because of them, we still have our daughter. You never know how important donating is, until you are the one that is in need of it! For that reason, I choose to roll my “sleeves up” and ask you to join me in donating during my sleevesup campaign!
Thank you,
Stephanie
