Ken died of Leukemia a cancer of the body’s blood-forming tissues, He passed peacefully in his sleep, his blood no longer able to support his body.
Ken’s life was extended and improved by numerous blood transfusions. Ken donated blood to the American Red Cross his entire life.
He was extremely proud of his “Gallon” pins he earned from the American Red Cross during a lifetime of giving blood.
In lieu of flowers or donations, if you are able to, please donate blood in honor of Ken. The American Red Cross is currently having a severe blood shortage crisis.
