I am cancer-free as of my surgery date! I finished chemo on 3/11/2025, and will continue immunotherapy through November. To celebrate, I started a campaign to donate blood. After one year, I should be allowed to donate again. Until then, please help fight the worldwide blood shortage by signing up to donate using this link so I know you did it! Many cancer patients need blood transfusions during their treatment because chemo can cause low blood cell counts, leading to complications like neutropenia, anemia, fatigue, etc. Your donation could make a difference in a cancer patient’s life.
Before being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was a regular (every ~8 weeks) blood donor. I have CMV- blood, which means it can be used for young babies. Not being able to donate has been hard, so I am opening a campaign for others to pledge to donate while I am in my waiting period. If you are eligible, please sign up to donate (maybe multiple times!).
