Donating blood has always been important as a way to contribute to the health and well being of others. Now, during the pandemic, there is a critical need for blood donations as many collection drives at schools, universities, or other public places have been cancelled due to the pandemic. Now, more than ever, your blood donation is needed! You can give a Power Red blood donation (a Power Red donation allows you to safely donate two units of red blood cells during one donation), whole blood, or platelets donation. I have given many blood donations over the years:
Power Red – 11 (22 units)
Whole blood – 4 units
Platelets – 1 unit
