Hello, Family and Friends, I have organized this event for my Mother’s 41st birthday.
Breast Cancer is a disease that affects the lives of thousands of families in the Baltimore area every year, especially in the African-American community.
In 2018 she received that call…
“WE FOUND A LUMP in your Left Breast.”
Long story short…
She danced her way out of Mercy O’Brien Center for Women at Mercy and praised her way to The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
In the Baltimore area, there is an annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk called the Survivor Soul Stroll. Participating in the Annual Survivor Soul Stroll has been a BLESSING for my mom!
She will be turning 41 on August the 21st unfortunately this event was canceled. So I’ve decided to try to spread some good the best way I can think of – with a Red Cross blood donation drive. She is aiming to have 41 blood donations for her 41st birthday.
With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to overload our healthcare systems, there is a desperate need for blood. There is almost always a blood shortage in our country, but with more people in hospitals and fewer people donating because of the pandemic, things are worse than usual. So please, if you are able, donate blood for my Mom’s 41 for 41 campaign!
They are also testing all donations for COVID antibodies, so you can get a free antibody test for donating.
Please visit the https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive website to choose the donating location of your choice.
