Jen would have turned 50 on March 4, 2024. While we wish more than anything we could be celebrating with her in person, we find comfort in knowing she lives on in our hearts and is wrapping us in so much heavenly love.
Jen often commented that she wanted something good to come from her cancer journey. Blood transfusions played an important role in her treatments, and she was extremely grateful to everyone who took the time to donate blood. She would be humbled and honored to know she is the inspiration behind this campaign and continues to have a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals across the country.
In honor of her 50th birthday, we’ve set a goal of 50 pledges, and we would love to have as many as possible!
Once you pledge, please continue to make an appointment with the American Red Cross at a blood drive local to you. It’s safe and easy, and each donation can save the lives of up to three individuals.

I have been sharing the current tally and all the sweet notes many of you sent via “notes to organizer” with my family, and we are honored to know how Jen has touched your lives and continues to do so. We are extremely grateful!
Several have asked if it’s possible to make a financial contribution – either in addition to a blood donation or instead of (we appreciate that not everyone is eligible to donate blood). Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to donate directly through the SleevesUp Campaign, but fortunately there is a way to do so on the Red Cross website. Here are the steps:
1. Follow this link: https://www.redcross.org/donate/blood-services-donation.html
2. Select the Frequency, Choose the Donation Amount, and Select Blood Services for the “I want to Support” option.
3. You have the option to ”Dedicate this gift to a friend or loved one” after the donation is complete. Simply check the box and enter Jen’s name.
