Jack Bergan’s Memorial Blood Campaign

53 /50

Please join in honoring Jack Bergan by giving blood .

In October 2015, Jack was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. During his two months of treatment, he received over 60 units of red blood cells and platelets. Jack was a selfless man who put his faith into action throughout his life. Jack regularly donated blood to the American Red Cross for over 20 years until he was no longer eligible. He also volunteered for the American Cancer Society by driving patients to their treatments. Jack was the type of person that made the world a better place, and in his memory, I hope we can all do the same.

Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.

A blood drive will be held in Jack’s honor on Tuesday, May 3 between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm in Norfolk, VA. If you’ll be in Hampton Roads on May 3, please use the sponsor code ‘WTC’ when pledging.
For all other areas, use your zip code with your pledge to find a drive near you.
