Four years ago I suffered a placental abruption and we lost our baby boy Ara at 36 weeks. As I hemorrhaged, my body went into Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC). Due to the severe blood loss, I received several blood transfusions while in the ICU. Although we lost our angel, Ara, I am so grateful to still be here today and Ara’s memory lives on.
