Donating blood is one of the most selfless acts you can participate in. Your efforts could help people from all different backgrounds, with different stories, across the world.

September is Sickle Cell Awareness month. A common disease among the African American Community. IQVIA is dedicated to its commitment in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Therefore, for the month of September, our goal is by partnering with the American Red Cross, we can create a better place for all to live.

The American Red Cross has a critical need for African American donors to help patients battling this disease get the treatments they need. We hope that with your efforts we can continue towards a more equitable healthcare system and help underrepresented communities get the care they deserve.

A diverse blood supply is extremely important, especially for populations who are underserved by healthcare systems. It is critical that people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds donate.

Two events will be hosted at The Streets of Southpoint mall in Durham, N.C., on:

– Friday, September 10, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

– Friday, September 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m
