Hello everyone!
You may remember last year, the four of us donated blood at a bloodmobile drive in downtown Charleston. We were responding to an urgent request for blood by the American Red Cross. The drive was held at a local tech software company, BoomTown!, where Katie’s husband works. Meagan received a call after the blood drive saying her donation saved three lives. Multiply that by the four of us and that’s twelve lives! Imagine how many lives could be saved if ALL of us made a blood donation to the Red Cross.
As you can imagine, there’s still a shortage and we hear commercials everyday asking for blood donations.
How can YOU help? Join us next month for our first annual “Ingredion SleevesUp September”! You can do this online by pledging to donate blood in your own community. You can also encourage your co-workers, your family and your friends to join our campaign and donate blood too. Send our link by email and share on social media.
