Yvonne was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in December of 2020. Prior to this, she was in cancer remission following treatment in 2014. Towards the end of her life, her chemotherapy left her with low blood and platelet counts. She had nearly weekly transfusions of blood and platelets before receiving any additional treatments.
