My grandson required nonstop blood transfusions, platelets and plasma for several days after being born. On January 3, 2016 my 22 day old grandson Derek passed away, and if it was not for the Red Cross I would not have had those 22 days. After my friend heard about Red Cross coming to his aid she was so touched and thought a blood drive in his name would be a great way to pay it forward. We have decided to make this blood drive special for more than just me. We are calling this blood drive “In Memory of (Your Loved Ones Name)”. If you can donate thank you so much.
