Sophia needed over 100 blood transfusions during her treatment. Although she did not survive her cancer the blood transfusions helps extend her life. It gave us time! Cherished time for my family to enjoy life. Blood transfusions mean so much to patients. When Sophie would receive a blood transfusion it gave her energy to play and be a child again.
