In Memory of Joseph Forte

1 /30

I’ve always believed that donating blood is critically important. Primarily that is due to the fact that there really is no artificial substitute that even comes close. Only donated blood can be used to save patients in need of blood transfusions. I feel that my small sacrifice of time and blood can in some way make an enormous difference in other people’s lives.

It’s one thing to know intellectually that donating blood is a good thing. It’s an entirely other thing when it becomes personal. Recently my Uncle Joe passed away. In lieu of flowers, Aunt Sue and family have a sweet, heartfelt request. They ask that people honor Joe’s memory by rolling up a sleeve and donating blood.

This I can do. This I will do. Will you join me and #Donate4Forte and for all those who need us?
