In honor of Buck Lee Charles, American Red Cross is hosting a virtual blood drive so those who were graced with knowing the late student, as well as those who are touched by his contributions to his community.
Buck was a graduate of Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, class of 2014; during this time he attended Tri County Vocational Tech School in Dexter taking the Precision Machining Course. He worked at McKenney Machine in Corinna for three years. For the past year he attended Central Maine Community College in Lewiston. He was a former Boy Scout in Troop 65 Corinna. He loved the outdoors especially while snowmobiling on his Ski Doo, hunting, and fishing. He was a good friend to many always smiling and joking. He was always helping others and helping friends in the community. He was loved by “everyone who knew him.”
In addition to the virtiual blood drive there is an official blood drive in memory of Buck. In formation for that is below:
