How do you honor the most extraordinary husband, father, son, friend, and colleague? You set out to accomplish the goal he couldn’t. Tom was diagnosed with Leukemia and spent many months in the hospital and received hundreds of blood transfusions. He used to joke he was going to take on the personalities of the donors. He would refer to blood as liquid gold and always expressed how grateful he was for the donors. His own goal was to donate blood and save lives. Tragically, his life was cut short and he never got the chance. I now ask that we honor Tom by giving the gift of liquid gold and save the lives he couldn’t. This campaign will run from November 4th, his Birthday, through January.
