Recently my family suffered an irreplaceable loss. After an unforeseen complication, my nephew Bryson Gates, was born Monday July 6th at 38 weeks. With the help of God, medical intervention, donated blood, and platelets, he fought a valiant battle after suffering from severe blood loss.

My sister and brother-in-law were given four short days with Bryce, but it was a blessing for them to have that precious time together and meet their child. He was a beautiful baby, and a motivated fighter.

This virtual blood drive is in his remembrance. Because of donors like you, my sister and brother-in law were able to meet their son. While their chapter was far too short with him, I would like to help make an impact our communities, giving to those in need of blood products, like baby Bryce was.
