Bruce Allen, a beloved member of the Bailey Island community, died peacefully surrounded by love on June 19th.
Diagnosed 21 years ago with prostate cancer, Bruce fought a strong battle. For the past year, we relied on blood and platelet donations to extend his time here with us.
The family asks that you join us in honoring Bruce Allen by attending a blood drive in his honor at the Orrs Island School House on August 4th from 1-6 pm.
If you’re from out of state or not able to make this drive, please use this site to sign up for a blood drive local to you. The family will receive a note letting us know you’ve donated in his honor.
We seek to have 100 people donate in his name -we’d be honored if you’d help us reach our goal!
