I gave blood on 1 April, because I am not a fool.
One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need. It only takes a few minutes to fill a pint. Plus you get cookies and juice and a free Covid-19 antibody test (I am still negative). It took me less than an hour to donate, including my trip to and from the American Legion where the blood drive was.
Download the Red Cross app, schedule yourself, fill out the Rapid Pass (it really saves time at the donation site!), take a selfie at your donation and let me know how long it took to fill the pint. Mine took 6 minutes 35 seconds!
