ICF Virtual Blood Drive for Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month

84 /150

September is Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month. In the U.S., there are approximately 100,000 people living with sickle cell disease. Blood transfusions help provide a lifesaving treatment during a sickle cell pain crisis but there aren’t enough blood donors to meet this urgent need.

Join us supporting Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month by participating in our virtual blood drive. One blood donation can save up to three people and touch the lives of many more. This event is designed to work around your busy schedule and allow you to find a donation center this is convenient to you.

When you select the pledge button on the right, you will be guided to select a donation appointment based on the location and date that is most convenient for you. Before donating, check to make sure you meet eligibility requirements: https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/how-to-donate/eligibility-requirements.html

For each employee pledge, ICF will donate $10 to the American Red Cross. Help us reach our goal of 150 pledges! You can encourage others to donate by posting on Viva Engage using #ICFSleevesUp.
