Hurricane Matthew – Headlines moved on, but the need for blood is still crucial

Over 1500 have fallen victim to Hurricane Matthew and this number is still increasing. Take some time out of your day to help those in need.

In areas affected by Hurricane Matthew, the American Red Cross was forced to cancel all blood drives within the area, resulting in over 3500 donations not collected.

One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning recently.

Without volunteer blood donors, the number of victims surviving would be drastically lower. Help us reach our goal and ensure that those affected receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
