HRSA has partnered with the American Red Cross through their Sleeves-Up Virtual Blood Drive Campaign in light of the current national blood crisis. The American Red Cross reports less than a one-day supply of critical blood products in recent weeks – well below the ideal five-day supply. We invite headquarters, regional staff, and their family and friends to pledge and give blood at a nearby donation site.
The campaign begins February 1, 2022 and will run through April 30, 2022. Please consider donating blood at this critical time in our nation’s history. Your donation can help save lives. HRSA has set a goal to reach 100 donations by the end of the campaign.
How it works:
1) Participants may begin making their pledge to donate now through April 30, 2022.
2) Select the “Pledge to Give Blood” button located at the top of this webpage. Participants will be asked to enter their name, e-mail address and zip code.
3) Donors will then see a new browser window for all upcoming open-to-the-public blood drives in their area to schedule a donation.
