My dad, Terry Guthrie, has needed three blood transfusions in the 4 days he has been at the hospital and might need more. Seeing this first hand has made us realize the importance of donating blood. We started a campaign to ask people to consider donating blood to help replace what he has used and provide extra for others. Donating blood can and does save lives.
