Harkcon needs your help to make a difference.

We work together every day to do important work. But during the month of May, we want to accomplish something even more meaningful. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive lifesaving blood.

In remembrance of Memorial Day, and in keeping with our military heritage and our Guiding Principle to act responsibly toward the communities around us, Harkcon is announcing its 8th Annual Memorial Day Virtual Blood Drive!

During the month of May, we are asking all Harkcon Associates to pledge their support by making an appointment and donating blood at an American Red Cross blood drive or donation center nearest to you. Every blood donation can save up to three lives, so imagine how many lives could be saved by just us alone. You can donate in one of two ways:

1) You can donate blood and Harkcon will match your blood donation with a $25 donation to the Red Cross; or

2) You can make a monetary donation and Harkcon will match your donation up to a maximum of $250 per person.

We hope you will participate and give blood in honor those who “gave all” in their service to our country.
