5 years ago High Point Academy was founded on the principles of Honor, Integrity and Service. Since then, we have partnered with the American Red Cross to provide multiple services for our Upstate area. This has been a great way to give back to our community and show our appreciation and pride that we have for our school and our neighbors.
Last school year was our inaugural year with the Red Cross blood drive program and we were able to collect 138 units of blood which provided over 300 usable blood products. THATS OVER 300 LIVES IMPACTED BY US ALONE!
Our first drive for the year is Tuesday Oct 16 from 9-2. Our goal is 100 units. You can register online through the Red Cross or call 864-316-9788 and ask for the nurses office. This is open to the community. Download the Red Cross Donor app and use the Rapid Pass to save some time.
As an added bonus, the American Red Cross is entering all October donors into a $500 gift card give away AND the Subway on Fairforrest Rd is giving away coupons for a free 6″ sub to each donor!
