Our Grand Lodge Physician, Bro. and Dr. Jean Marcelin, informs us that our nation’s blood supply has run so critically low that blood is being rationed. This means that in some cases, those in need of this life-saving substance may not get what they need, and lives are being put at risk.

In response to this critical situation, we will dedicate the month of November to an Emergency Blood Drive. This program will run beginning November 1, 2021, through December 8, 2021. It is open to all members of our Grand Lodge, their family, and friends.

Using this website, you can schedule a time and place to donate when it is convenient for you. You are also encouraged to document and publicize your efforts on behalf of the Grand Lodge and the Red Cross by posting pictures of you giving blood on your social media and including the hashtag #DCMasonsGive. A progress report on these efforts will be provided at the Annual Communication on November 20th and the final tally will be announced at the Third Communication on December 11th.
