The global spread of COVID-19 has led to unprecedented adjustments in our lives and livelihoods. As a result, there are severe blood shortage due to a number of blood drive and blood donation cancellations. This blood shortage could impact patients who need surgery, victims of car accidents, and other emergencies, or patients suffering from cancer.

One of the most important things we can do as to ensure we don’t have another health care crisis on top of the coronavirus is to give blood and encourage our friends and family to give blood. Let’s #GiveAsOne.

The Mission Continues is joining the movement in urging healthy, eligible individual to donate – you can help save a life. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.

**It’s still safe to donate blood during the coronavirus pandemic. Individuals are not at risk of contracting coronavirus through the blood donation process or through blood transfusion.
