One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning recently.

Without volunteer blood donors, our story might have had a different ending. Help me reach my goal and ensure that patients receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.

A little over a month ago our baby grandson Jaxson Was in need of an urgent or a transfusion due to low hemoglobin otherwise known as anemia. In the blink of an eye he received a donation through that transfusion from a complete stranger, someone who chose to donate in hopes to save someone…that someone turned out to be our almost 2 yr old beautiful blue eyed baby grandson. I realized I couldn’t think of the actual person for their donation, so for my 51st birthday I am making a pledge to start donating to get back in hopes to make a difference in someone else’s life in honor of my grandson. Jack’s is now doing much better and his hemoglobin is at an all-time high!
