After the car accident that occurred on August 23, 2014 Drake was in the hospital fighting for his life before losing the battle on August 29th. Each day as we surrounded Drake with love and prayer we never gave up hope, continuing to treat each day as the day he may open his eyes and begin his way back to us. Unfortunately that day never came and we were left to pick up the pieces of losing our amazing child, brother and friend. As a part of the wonderful care that the ICU staff at Munson gave Drake were countless  blood transfusions. Without the blood that was given to Drake, we may not have had the days that we were given, to spend with him. We are forever grateful that we had every last second we could have holding his hand, telling him how much we love him. In honor of Drake we want to give back. Bill and I would like to give other families the chance to spend another day with their loved one, one more chance to hug them and tell them how much they are loved.
