I am now in year 37 of being a blood donor. What began with me as a 17 year old high school student looking for a way to honor my childhood bestie that constantly needed blood transfusions, has turned into a life long commitment to many others. With my birthday being in December, two weeks after Thanksgiving and two weeks before Christmas, I’ve always been aware of the critical need during holiday season for blood donations. I’d like to continue doing my part while inspiring others, by hosting a Virtual Birthday Blood Drive.
