Sickle cell disease is a life-threatening condition with no known cure. Blood transfusions are vital for treating sickle cell disease. For many patients a close blood type match is essential and is found in donors of the same race or similar ethnicity.
The Voices of African Descent EIG would like all employees to please consider donating blood. All types are needed!
