There is a severe shortage of blood available for individuals like Sharon who was African American and had a rare blood type. If it weren’t for the kindness of donors before her making the sacrifice, Sharon would not have had the life she did for as long as she did. We are immensely grateful that when she needed it, blood was available. As a show of our gratitude and in honor of Sharon’s compassion for others we are asking our friends and family to contribute blood so that others can #FightLikeSharon.
