Every Drop Counts: BEATS Fire Relief Blood Drive

11 /100

Every 2 seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Right now, California needs your help more than ever.

As devastating wildfires continue to ravage the state, they’re not just destroying homes and landscapes – they’re severely impacting the ability to collect lifesaving blood donations. The American Red Cross reports that wildfire-related air quality issues have forced the cancellation of numerous blood drives, resulting in hundreds of lost donations. Combined with winter weather challenges across the country, blood banks are facing a critical shortage.

That’s why BEATS is launching a campaign for a virtual blood drive. The need is urgent, particularly for type O negative blood donors and platelet donations. While we can’t gather in one location, we can unite in purpose. By pledging to donate at a blood center or drive local to you, you’re providing a lifeline to those affected by these natural disasters and countless others in need.

Your single donation can help save up to three lives. In times of crisis, every drop counts. Join BEATS in our mission to ensure that when someone needs blood – whether it’s in 2 seconds or 2 hours – it’s there.

Ready to make a difference? Here’s how you can help…
