Our 10-year-old friend, Emmet, has received various medical treatments in his fight against Aplastic Anemia: some as complicated as bone marrow transplants and others more common such as blood and platelet transfusions. Emmet’s mom, Lisa, posted that the Red Cross is experiencing a national shortage of blood and platelets and inspired us by her own donation yesterday. In honor of Emmet and all of the good work that his parents, Jeff and Lisa, have done to help others, please join us in donating either blood or platelets during this 60-day campaign.
