We are pleased to expand our relationship with the American Red Cross, through the ECAR Sleeves Up Campaign. From November 23, 2020 – December 31, 2021, ECAR (Eastern CT Association of Realtors) members, their families, and friends can now pledge to give blood at a Red Cross donation site local to them on this blood drive campaign page.
To celebrate 100 years of CT REALTORS, our initial goal is to reach 100 donations during this period, as the Red Cross has been urging healthy individuals to give blood now in order to help keep the blood supply stable over the holidays. Blood donations often decline from Thanksgiving on, and the COVID-19 pandemic will further impact donations.
How it works:
1) Pledge to donate through the ECAR Sleeves Up Campaign between Nov. 23, 2020 – December 31, 2021 on the red “Pledge to Give Blood” button on the top right of this page.
2) After you complete your pledge, you will be automatically taken to the Red Cross online scheduling system where you can make an appointment for a blood drive near you! To view your COVID antibody test and schedule future donations, download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
3) Submit details and a photo from your donation event to: [email protected] and be sure to use the hashtags #ECARcares on your social media channels.
Complete these three steps and you will be entered for the chance to win great prizes, curated by our ECAR American Red Cross team. ECAR will raffle off a $100 Visa gift card for those who complete the 3 steps above!
