Meet Paisley Dot
Paisley is the most lovable 3-year-old you could ever meet. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, so her bedroom is decorated for it all year long. If she could, she’d go to Disneyland every single day — her favorite rides are Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion.
Paisley has a big personality that makes everyone laugh with her sassy and witty remarks. She’s also a natural caregiver, always making sure everyone around her is happy and has what they need. She’s the first child to give up her toys if someone else doesn’t have one.
Her Journey
In October 2024, Paisley was diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. Even cancer hasn’t dimmed her bright and loving spirit. Her journey has been longer and more difficult than most, as her subtype of neuroblastoma is extremely rare and hard to treat.
So far, Paisley has endured eleven rounds of chemotherapy, six rounds of immunotherapy, four surgeries — one of them lasting more than seven hours — multiple ICU stays, and a total of eighty days in the hospital. And her journey is not over yet. Ahead of her are two bone marrow transplants, radiation treatments, and more rounds of immunotherapy.
Our Mantra: Paisley Do It
When Paisley was first learning to talk, she would proudly say, “Paisley do it!” That phrase has become our family’s mantra through this journey: PAISLEY DO IT. We know if anyone can get through this, it’s her.
