Cox has partnered with the American Red Cross since 1913. This year, we’re rolling up our sleeves to help the Red Cross address the national blood donation shortage due to COVID-19.
June 19 commemorates the day when Sickle Cell Disease, the most common inherited blood disease in the U.S., was recognized as a United Nations public health concern. One in 365 Black babies are born with this condition each year, and it affects millions of adults and children.
We’re proud to support the Sleeves Up blood donation campaign this summer, and to work together with the Red Cross, our employees and our communities to help save lives and build a better future.
