Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Pi Omega Chapter) understands the importance of donating blood. Donations are especially needed during the COVID 19 coronavirus pandemic. Social distancing has caused a decrease in blood donations, but the the need for blood is increasing everyday.  We want to do our part to help ensure the blood supply is plentiful and available for any and all who need it. Blood supplies can be depleted quickly while we are in the middle of this pandemic.

Fraternities and sororities work together every day to do important work in our communities. But today, we want to accomplish something even more meaningful. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive lifesaving blood.
