Sara was diagnosed in June 2020 with NUT Carcinoma, a rare cancer. Over the course of her illness, the chemotherapy and radiation treatments damaged her bone marrow’s ability to make red blood cells. She received multiple transfusions of both whole blood and platelets. Without donors like you, she would not have been able to continue her fight. Many cancer patients need blood over the course of their illness, as do many other patients. Please consider donating blood as a way to honor Sara’s loving and giving spirit, between 5/22/2021 and 12/31/2021.
