Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) serves as a medical treatment for patients with PANS/PANDAS. It is derived from a combination of immunoglobulins (antibodies) sourced from the plasma of thousands of healthy donors. These immunoglobulins are produced by the immune systems of healthy individuals to combat infections.
