Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood—people with cancer, trauma patients, premature babies, accident victims and more. But during a global pandemic—perhaps more than ever—blood serves as a critical, irreplaceable part of our healthcare infrastructure. Here in Vermont, the Red Cross hosts blood drives every day to ensure there is enough blood on the shelves. Blood drives are critical, yet costly, participation in the Vermont B-Corps Roll Your Sleeves Up Challenge will help the Red Cross fulfill its lifesaving mission by supporting the arm-to-arm journey of lifesaving blood.
