Be a part of something big with the Boys Town Emerging Leaders National Virtual Blood Drive. One of the key components of the Boys Town Emerging Leaders (BTEL) employee resource group is service. The Community Outreach Committee has organized part two of a national blood drive through the Red Cross, and all Boys Town employees and their families are invited to participate! The event is running now through April 30, 2021.
A big Thank You to the 42 individuals who pledged to donate blood during the BTEL blood drive at the end of 2020! We look forward to further helping the Red Cross in 2021. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.
