Hey all. I have a HUGE favor to ask. Michelle Cook Kuruzovich is in the hospital again due to a post surgery complication. Not an emergency. She is receiving another unit of blood. I’ve lost count but I’d guess she has received 20 units of blood in the last 16 months. I would like to replenish that amount. I fainted the last time I donated (Lisa Marie Sunseri can vouch lol) but that’s not going to stop me. I’ll be donating ASAP so we only need 19 more donations. There is a current blood shortage due to COVID.
Generally, anyone age 16 or older, weighing at least 120 pounds and in good health, can donate blood. I know many people have asked “If you need anything” in these last 2 1/2 years since she was diagnosed with cancer (she is cancer free now!). I am answering YES to that question.
