One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning to Candace and her family in 2022 when she was admitted to the hospital with a life-threatening autoimmune disease reaction.
Candace’s story back then would have an abrupt ending without volunteer blood, platelet, and plasma donors. At the time of hospitalization, she had lost her mobility, her ability to speak fluently, and her ability to write or hold a paintbrush. Help us honor her memory as we reach our goal of 50 donations by May 11 (Mother’s Day) to ensure that patients receive life-saving blood in their hour of need.
Make and keep an appointment during our drive (and beyond) to give blood to the American Red Cross. Take a picture and post it on her for Candace’s annual blood drive campaign. Join us again annually during the month of February as we honor her 2-28 birthday. THANK YOU for your donation! #RememberingCandace
