Did you know that every two seconds in America someone needs blood? And that one blood donor can save up to 3 lives?
Many of us have loved ones who needed blood for emergency situations and without volunteer blood donors their stories might have had a different ending. I’m eternally grateful for the donors who saved their lives.
For my birthday I’m asking that you consider donating blood to the American Red Cross. There’s an emergency shortage and blood supply is at critically low levels. Your donation will help to ensure there’s enough blood available for patients in need.
