As a National Honor’s Society member, I enjoy being active in my community and taking chances to volunteer any time I can. I created this campaign as a way to spread awareness about donating blood and help with blood donations. Donating blood may end up giving someone you know or someone in need “Another Chance” at life, and while ARC is going through a national blood shortage, donating blood now is highly important.
Why Donate? Every 3 seconds, someone in America desperately needs blood or blood platelets. Blood and blood platelets cannot be manufactured, they can only come from volunteers willing to donate blood. Donating blood is critical to saving lives, and a single blood donation can save up to 3 lives.
If you would like to donate, all you need to do is:
-Pledge to donate blood today by clicking on the red banner above. (But you can donate blood without pledging!)
-Find a local blood drive near you and schedule an appointment to donate blood between February 25th (2/25/25) through May 22nd (5/22/25).
Afterall, you ARE someone’s type! So, roll up those sleeves and donate blood to save someone in need today.
