In memory of Alek, our family is hosting a virtual Blood Drive Donation.
We would have like to hosted an in-person event to greet you all, however it was too much for us this year. Perhaps we will be able to in 2024 and continue an annual event.
Our family is grateful for the love and prayers and support this past year! We appreciate opportunities like this to host in memory of our son, as well as bring awareness to the needs around us.
Who Can You Help by Donating Blood?
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. There is no substitute for blood. When a patient receives blood it was donated in advance by a generous donor.
Alek initially received blood donations, which was life-sustaining and allowed him to later became a donor to many others. He was always very generous and an inspiration to many of us – we would like to inspire ALL of you to DONATE BLOOD in memory of Alek!
Challenge your friends (or anyone for that matter) to a friendly competition! Who will win the battle to do the most social good for your community?
Put your virtual blood drive campaign against one or even multiple other campaigns to see who can recruit more blood donors for the American Red Cross.
