We have an ongoing commitment to work hard and do important work for our community and the medical profession as a whole. That is why today we ask you to help The American Red Cross as it continues to face a life-threatening shortage of blood. They need to collect approximately 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That is a lot of patients in need of life-saving blood, and if we come together we can help ensure that they receive the blood they need.
