Access to blood products when needed is the difference between life and death. In the last several years I’ve seen this for patients as well as friends.
I’m now up to 18 units donated, with a plan to continue to give regularly.
For my 44th birthday I’m asking 44 people to join me and also donate at this time of critical need. As I’m writing this more than half of the blood centers in the country are reporting “low” or “critically low” levels of supply.
